Bubble Rush is a fantastic event for the whole family and is an amazing way to raise money for your local hospice. This is the third year that Glasgow’s Hospice has hosted the event – and the 2017 Glasgow Bubble Rush was the largest anywhere in the UK with 4,500 bubblers taking part and raising over £150,000 for the partner charities.
The Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice is raising £21 million to build a state-of-the-art palliative healthcare facility in Bellahouston Park. The aim is to bring 21st century hospice care to the people of Glasgow, providing a major step forward in provision of care services. The total has now reached £20m with work on the building more than 75% complete, and patients expected to move in in spring. But the hospice depends on the generosity of supporters to raise the £3.1m it needs each year to maintain its invaluable service to the people of the city.
The Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice is organising Glasgow Bubble Rush, with fellow members of Scotland’s Hospices Together: CHAS, Accord Hospice, Ayrshire Hospice, Highland Hospice, St. Andrew’s Hospice, St. Vincent’s Hospice, Ardgowan Hospice, St. Columba’s Hospice and Strathcarron Hospice.
