The fun run through coloured bubbles has passed 100! The colourful events, which are organised in partnership with local hospices, have been taking place up and down the UK since 2015 and have raised over £2m for hospices.

The first Bubble Rush took place at Oulton Park Race Circuit in May 2015, in partnership with St. Luke’s (Cheshire) Hospice.  Since then the family-friendly fun run has travelled as far afield as the Isle of Man, Glasgow and Plymouth encouraging more than 100,000  ‘bubblers’ to take part and raise funds to support their local hospice.

The 5K fun runs have no minimum or maximum age limit, so are perfect for families and groups of friends or colleagues to get together and do something for a great local cause.  This year bubblers aged from just a few weeks old up 92 years of age have completed the course.  The events aren’t timed, so there’s no pressure to race against the clock.  At every event there is a colourful fun warm up before everyone lines up for the frothy fun.  Every kilometre along the course runners encounter a bubble station pumping out 30 cubic metres of coloured foam every minute. Many runs are a two lap course, so there can be at least eight chances to get covered in bubbles!

This summer’s great weather has so far seen more than 30,000 bubblers take on the foam cannons at 30 locations.  With 15 more events still to go between the August Bank Holiday and the middle of October there are still plenty of chances to get your bubble on and have some incredi-bubble fun!
