In light of the current outbreak of COVID-19 and the continuing restrictions on mass gatherings we are not able to run Bubble Rush – Swansea as advertised on 29th June.
We are still hoping to arrange an alternative date for the event later this summer.
We are working with Swansea Council to rearrange the event, butas we’re sure you understand, they have other priorities at the moment, so announcing the new date may take a few more weeks.
We hope you will bear with us until we can give you more information.
As soon as the new date is announced we will let you know.
Bubble Rush is a fun run with a difference – lots of coloured bubbles! You’ll start in a sea of foam and then take on four different coloured bubble stations, where foam canons create a 4ft deep bubble bath!
Run, walk, toddle or dance your way around the family-friendly course. Don’t worry if you’re not a runner – the event isn’t timed so you’re not racing against anyone and there’s no time limit. The course is suitable for pushchairs and wheelchairs, and there’s no minimum or maximum age limit, so everyone can take part.

Bubble Rush is for everyone!
Bubble Rush is perfect for families and groups of all ages and abilities.

The course is two laps of 2.5km, meaning that you’ll go through each bubble station twice – that’s DOUBLE the BUBBLES!
Our charity partner for Bubble Rush is Marie Curie.
We’re here for people living with any terminal illness, and their families across Wales.
We offer expert care, guidance and support to help them get the most from the time they have left. We provide care and support for more than 3,500 people living with a terminal illness in Wales each year.
There are around 150 Marie Curie Nurses working in Wales, caring for around 2,400 terminally ill people and their families in their homes each year.
Our Marie Curie Hospice, Cardiff and the Vale, in Penarth, cares for around 1,000 people each year, including people staying in the hospice and those coming in for the day to use the hospice’s services.
We also support people throughout their illness by giving practical information, support from trained volunteers and being there when someone wants to talk.
The right care means everything to families living with a terminal illness. With your support we can be there for more families when we’re needed most.
We would be delighted if you could include some fundraising or make a donation to show your support for the charity.
Your ticket price only covers the cost of putting on the event. However, all proceeds from fundraising, individual and corporate sponsorship and event day activities including bag drop and merchandise sales will go directly to the charity.
Last year’s Bubble Rush events were foam-tastic! We can’t wait to bring the UK’s foamiest fun run to Swansea in 2020!
Bubble Rush is not your usual fun run, so please read the Terms and Conditions for Bubble Rush before signing up. In particular we ask you to note the following:

An official Bubble Rush t-shirt is included in the price of the ticket so please choose the size and quantity before you check out. All finishers also receive a Bubble Rush medal.
Please note that children under the age of 3 can take part free of charge but don’t receive a tshirt or medal.
After you have registered for Bubble Rush you will receive an email from Marie Curie with details about fundraising as part of your preparation for the event. Thank you in advance for your support!
