Finn’s Top Tips for Fundraising Success
Follow my easy steps below and let’s begin raising money together!
Step 1: Get ready… download my forms!
Everything you need to get started can be downloaded from this page! (You may need a parent or carer to help with this bit!)
- Make your own money box to collect donations.
- Print off a sponsorship form
- Colour in the poster to tell people that you’re doing Bubble Rush
- Make a ‘Bubble-izer’ chart to track your progress
- Bake! Why not use my recipe cards as a way of making things to sell in exchange for a donation?
Step 2: Set Your Bubbly Target
Use the Bubble-izer donations chart to set your fundraising target. As you get donations you can fill in the bubbles to track your progress! Why not stick it on the kitchen wall or on the fridge so everyone can see how well you’re doing?
Step 3: Start Your Fundraising Journey
You’re now ready to start raising money! There are so many ways to fundraise and its so much fun to do! I even have some print out sheets below to get you going!
Step 4: Parent’s Permission:
Fundraising is a fun and exciting thing to do, but make sure you ask your parents permission before you start. They can help you to get going, and will have lots of ideas they can help you. Most importantly, it’s lots of fun fundraising together!
Finn’s Final Fundraising Tips:
- Be polite and thank everyone who sponsors you – they’re helping you on your fundraising journey, so remember to use your manners!
- Fundraising can be challenging but that’s part of the fun! Don’t forget that every donation will be helping to make a difference to the lives of people in your community.
- Get everyone involved! Whether its your mum, Dad, Grandma, Grandad, brother, sister or cousin- the more helpful hands the merrier!
- Remember that you are incredi-bubble! Helping people by fundraising is an amazing thing to do and you’re raising money for a great cause!
When you’re having lots of fun in the bubbles you’ll know that every penny you raised was worth it.
The last thing I need you to do before you get going is to ask your parents to read the paragraph below- this is so they can help you fundraise and read everything they need to know about Bubble Rush!
Parents Only:
Hi there Parents! If you’re reading this, it must mean that you’re helping your child to start fundraising for one of our charity partners. Thank you!
Here at Bubble Rush, we really want children to get involved and learn the importance of fundraising, whilst having a bubbletastic time! Bubble Rush is a foamy, frothy fun family event, and anyone any age can take part!
If you have any more questions about the event, please head over to our FAQ’S page. If you’d like to know more about the charity you’re fundraising for, please visit our events page, where you can find details of each event and more information about our charity partner.
That’s it! You’re all good to go!
We’d love to know how your fundraising goes! You can send me your news and pictures – ask your parents to email them in or post them on our Facebook and Instagram pages – you’ll find us @bubblerush5k
