DESCRIPTION:Bubble Rush Stoke-on-Trent: Event Update\nBubble Rush Stoke-on-Trent WILL go ahead this morning. \nWe are monitoring the Met Office forecast which shows the morning should be dry. \nAs the weather is due to deteriorate early this afternoon we advise people booked on the 12 o’clock wave to join the 11am start. \n\nRegistration will open at 9.30am \nWe may need to make some modifications to the course\, but most of it is on paths. \nFor your own and everyone’s safety please listen to the safety announcements and follow the instructions of the course marshals. \n\nOnline registration for this event is now closed – but you can still take part! \nSign up on the day: \nAdult: £22.00\nChild: £12.00\nFamily (2 adults + 2 children): £64 \nBubble Rush is a fun run with a difference – lots of coloured bubbles! \nYou’ll start in a sea of foam and then take on four different coloured bubble stations\, where foam canons create an incredi-bubble 4ft bubble bath! \nRun\, walk\, toddle or dance your way around the family-friendly course. Don’t worry if you’re not a runner – the event isn’t timed so you’re not racing against anyone and there’s no time limit. The course at Hanley Park is will be 2 laps of 2.5km\, and is suitable for pushchairs and wheelchairs\, so everyone can take part. \nBubble Rush is perfect for families and groups of all ages – there’s no minimum or maximum age limit! \nStoke On Trent Bubble Rush is raising funds for The Donna Louise: Hospice care for children & young people. \nThe Donna Louise provides hospice care for children\, young people\, and their families\, across Staffordshire and South Cheshire. Care is provided at their purpose-built hospice\, in the family home\, or a combination of both. This would not be possible without the support and generosity of the local community\, who help raise the £4.5 million needed to run the service each year. \nThere is no minimum sponsorship requirement but we do ask that you include some fundraising in your preparation for the event\, or make a donation when you sign up. All proceeds from sponsorship and donations will go directly to the hospice\, so every bubbly step you take will be making a difference. \n  \n
