Due to the ongoing situation with Coronavirus/COVID-19 we are not able to bring Bubble Rush to Bradford in 2020. The event will now take place on Sunday 18th July 2021 at Myrtle Park.
If you had already purchased tickets for this event they will be automatically transferred to the new date. Please check your Inbox for an email with more information.
The health and safety of our participants, staff and volunteers is always our number one priority, and this has been the basis upon which we’ve made this decision.
We want to thank our bubblers for their understanding, and we look forward to seeing you all next summer. In the meantime, stay safe!
The Bubble Rush Team
Bubble Rush is a fun run with a difference – lots of coloured bubbles! You’ll start in a sea of foam and then take on four different coloured bubble stations, where foam canons create an incredi-bubble 4ft bubble bath!
Run, walk, toddle or dance your way around the family-friendly course. Don’t worry if you’re not a runner – the event isn’t timed so you’re not racing against anyone and there’s no time limit. The course is suitable for pushchairs and wheelchairs, and there’s no minimum or maximum age limit, so everyone can take part.

Bubble Rush is for everyone!
Bubble Rush is perfect for families and groups of all ages and abilities.

The course is two laps of 2.5km, meaning that you’ll go through each bubble station twice – that’s DOUBLE the BUBBLES!
Our Marie Curie Bradford Hospice is a warm and welcoming place where we get to know people as individuals and help them do what is important to them. Our dedicated team is here to provide expert care, guidance and support every day of the year, for local people who are living with any terminal illness, and their families.
Our hospice, just off Leeds Road on Maudsley Street in Bradford, offers specialist round the clock care. We have a 16-bed in-patient unit, where relatives and friends can visit any time of the day or night and stay with their loved ones if they wish. Our day therapy unit offers outpatient clinics and a wide range of activities and therapies, including exercise sessions, complementary therapy, gardening, music, crafts, quizzes and art therapy led by a local artist. We also provide important support for carers and families, including bereavement support and counselling.
The right care means everything to families living with a terminal illness. With your support we can be there for more families in Bradford when we’re needed most.
You can set up an online fundraising page here: https://www.justgiving.com/campaign/MarieCurieHospiceBradford
Your ticket price only covers the cost of putting on the event. However all proceeds from fundraising, individual and corporate sponsorship and event day activities, including merchandise sales, will go directly to the charity.
We can’t wait to see you in the bubbles in 2021!
Bubble Rush is not your usual fun run, so please read the Terms and Conditions for Bubble Rush before signing up. In particular we ask you to note the following:
Under 16’s must be accompanied by a paying, participating adult. One adult can accompany 2 children under 16.
An official Bubble Rush t-shirt is included in the price of the ticket so please choose the size and quantity before you check out. All finishers also receive a Bubble Rush medal.
Please note that children under the age of 3 can take part free of charge but don’t receive a tshirt or medal.
After you have registered for Bubble Rush you will receive an email from Marie Curie with details about fundraising as part of your preparation for the event. Thank you in advance for your support!
