In light of the current outbreak of COVID-19 and the continuing restrictions on mass gatherings we are not able to run Bubble Rush – Birmingham as advertised on 20th June. The event will now take place in 2021.
We are working with Birmingham City Council to rearrange the event, but, as we’re sure you understand, they have other priorities at the moment, so announcing the new date may take a few more weeks.
We hope you will bear with us until we can give you more information. If you have already signed up please check your Inbox for an email from us with more information.

Bubble Rush is a fun run with a difference – lots of coloured bubbles!
You’ll start in a sea of foam and then take on four bubble stations around the course, where foam canons create an incredi-bubble 4ft deep coloured bubble bath!
It’s not a race! You can run, walk, toddle or dance your way around the family-friendly course. The most important thing is that you finish with a smile on your face! 🙂
The event isn’t timed, so you’re not racing against anyone and there’s no time limit.
Bubble Rush is for everyone!
Bubble Rush is perfect for families and groups of all ages and abilities.
The course is suitable for pushchairs and wheelchairs, and there’s no minimum or maximum age limit.
The course is two laps of 2.5km, meaning that you’ll go through each bubble station twice – that’s DOUBLE the BUBBLES!
Bubble Rush – Birmingham is organised in partnership with Acorns Children’s Hospice Please show your support for this amazing local charity by committing to raise funds as part of your preparation for the event.
At Acorns Children’s Hospice we provide care, support, fun and laughter for over 780 local children and more than 1,200 family members, including those who are bereaved. Care is given within our three hospices in Birmingham, the Black Country and the Three Counties, as well as in the family home and community.
Your ticket price only covers the cost of putting on the event, so anything you raise in sponsorship will go directly to supporting our vital care. There’s no official fundraising target, but we’re asking all participants to try to raise a minimum of £10. We understand that family time is precious when a child’s life is limited, and by raising just £10 you’ll be helping us to support families in any way we can to create lasting memories.
Bubble Rush is the UK’s foamiest fun run – we can’t wait to see you in the bubbles!
Bubble Rush is not your usual fun run, so please read the Terms and Conditions for Bubble Rush before signing up. In particular we ask you to note the following:
Under 16’s must be accompanied by a paying, participating adult. One adult can accompany two children under 16.
An official Bubble Rush t-shirt is included in the price of the ticket so please choose the size and quantity before you check out. All finishers also receive a Bubble Rush medal.
Please note that children under the age of 3 can take part free of charge but don’t receive a tshirt or medal.
After you have registered for Bubble Rush you will receive an email from Acorns Children’s Hospice with details about fundraising as part of your preparation for the event.
